The PhD program in Mechanical Science and Machine Elements is a third-level educational and scientific degree. It includes individual training and research work on current scientific and applied tasks in the field of mechanical engineering and machine elements. The training covers modeling, simulations and conducting experimental studies with machine elements and assemblies. The research topics are most often commissioned by industrial enterprises and implemented in real production. Most of the PhD students carry out internships in leading Bulgarian and international research organizations.
