Applied Geometry and Engineering Graphics - PhD

About the course

Applicants must have a master's degree in a relevant professional field. They are expected to have increased interest in: CAD systems in mechanical engineering, construction methodology, geometric modeling and documentation of technical systems, integration and management of the product computer model.

Training is conducted in the following areas:

  • geometric modeling of technical systems;
  • CAD systems in mechanical engineering;
  • Dimensional Analysis and dimensioning;
  • Management of electronic technical documents.
  • The topics that are developed are related to solving specific practical problems or have a theoretical focus such as the improvement or development of new approaches or tools.

PhD students are trained according to an individual plan including the study of additional disciplines, relevant to the subject of the research.

The department has long-standing traditions in the mentioned fields and has laboratories with appropriate equipment and software.
