About the course

The aim of the training of PhD students in the doctoral program "Methods, Transducers and Devices for Measurement and Control of Physical-Mechanical and Geometric Quantities" in the Department of Precision Engineering and Measurement Instruments is:

  • increasing the qualification of the PhD students;
  • their training as highly qualified specialists for the industry;
  • their formation as highly qualified lecturers for higher education institutions;
  • increasing their competency, knowledge and skills.

Achieving these goals is possible by successfully solving the following tasks:

  • compliance with legal requirements during training;
  • the training and consult of the PhD students should be carried out by lecturers with a high level of professional and scientific qualification;
  • to continuously improve and modernize the equipment in order to intensify the research process;
  • application of information technologies for research, gathering and processing of data;
  • strong relationship, close interaction and responding to the growing interest of companies from the production and service sectors in scientific and applied developments related to the objects of the specialty.
